Nearly 225 guests attended the Fall Parents & Science Program—Body Image, Nutrition and Eating Disorders: Insights from Neuroscience and Psychiatry—held at The Rockefeller University on November 30, 2010.  Evelyn Attia, M.D., Director of Columbia University Medical Center's Columbia Center for Eating Disorders, shared her clinical expertise with the audience, discussing the future direction of patient care and treatment.  Later in the program, Sarah Leibowitz, Ph.D., who is a Research Associate Professor of Behavioral Neurobiology at Rockefeller, spoke about her research, which is shedding light on the understanding of eating disorders.  A Q&A session with the audience followed.  Many friends, new and old, were in attendance.
