Over 200 guests attended The Winter Parents & Science Program—The Biology of Substance Abuse: What Parents of Teens Need to Know—held at The Rockefeller University on January 28, 2010.  Distinguished Rockefeller scientists, Mary Jeanne Kreek, Ph.D. and Bruce S. McEwen, Ph.D. talked about the intersection between stress, genetics and substance abuse.  A spirited discussion between the speakers and audience members followed. First Lady of New York, Michelle Paterson, Ambassador Robin Chandler Duke and many new friends were in attendance.
